In Koyaanisqatsi there were many patterns present. There were lots of symbols that would repeat themselves such as parts of the geosphere (mountains, rocks), water, cityscapes, cars, etc. I think these symbols whether they’re still, moving, alive, or not, all connect to humanity because they are all a result of our actions.
