In the movie, Koyaanisqatsi, there were definitely many symbols throughout, some of which we started to see over and over (ie. water, cars, etc). After seeing these symbols in real time, it start of getting old, but once time was going by quicker, the symbols had a completely different meaning. The message here is…we see many things repetitively in our lifetime, but the patterns of each symbol start to change once we see a time lapse, then it has a completely different meaning. Time changes everything, it just depends how much you have and how fast it goes.
