Coming into 3d design I didn’t know what exactly to expect. This class has taught me to look at the world more clearly and see things that I wouldn’t have seen before, it will definitely leave an everlasting impact on me. My favorite project in this class would have to be the 3d fingerprint project. I like how we did the 2d fingerprints and manipulations first because it gave us insight into the 3d portion. While I did struggle with this project, I really enjoyed how it ended up turning out. I truly enjoyed seeing how just paper can transform into such a complex composition, which will make me think differently about materiality.
